Seller Refurbished item condition and condition variations to be deprecated in select categories
Summary: m6xqx7 informs sellers about the expansion of the eBay Refurbished Program, which will include changes to item categories. From August 5, the 'Seller Refurbished' condition will be removed, requiring items to be listed as 'Used' or through the Refurbished Program which offers 'Excellent,' 'Very Good,' and 'Good' conditions. Sellers must review and update their listings before August 5 and apply to the program if eligible. By August 18, condition or grade variations will no longer be allowed, and affected listings must be ended or updated by removing these variations. Sellers using third-party listing tools must coordinate with their partners to ensure compliance with these changes.
We’re expanding the eBay Refurbished Program (“Program”) to include additional item categories, and this expansion will result in changes which may require updates to some of your listings. As you may have seen in our latest seller news update, we’re removing the ‘Seller Refurbished’ condition and the ability to list condition or grade variations, in the new Refurbished item categories.
