After listening to your feedback, we’re changing our existing conditions for single trading cards from Used to the more precise grading system of Graded and Ungraded. Within the trading card community, the value of trading cards is determined by these conditions so this improvement will not only enhance the quality of your listings, but also foster a stronger sense of trust amongst your buyers. 

This change will affect all single trading cards in the Sports, Non-Sports, and Collectable Card Games categories from July 2023. 

Here’s an overview of what’s changing:

We’ve revamped the grading system for single trading cards, from Used to Graded and Ungraded. 

Before listing a single trading card, it’s important to determine the grading of your card. These are the options you’ll see when adding the condition:

• Graded Cards: You’ll be prompted to select the relevant grader followed by the numerical grade that was assigned, and the certification number (recommended).

• Ungraded Cards: You’ll be able to select the appropriate descriptor that best fits the card's condition. You can use this table for guidance.

Your existing listings will also auto-migrate where there’s a one-to-one match between all the current card conditions.
