At eBay, we’re committed to making our policies clear and our services easy to use. We wanted to let you know that we’re updating our Payments Terms of Use, effective from 3 November 2026.
We’re revising the Payments Terms of Use to better describe the payment services we provide to you. As part of this revision, we’re making changes to how your funds from selling on eBay can be used.
From 3 November 2026, eBay balance will become part of the Free Selling experience.
What you need to do
You’ll need to review the eBay balance Terms and Conditions, the Combined Financial Services Guide and Product Disclosure Statement, and Target Market Determination on the eBay balance page. These documents contain important information about eBay balance.
If you do not agree to the proposed changes, you may terminate these Payments Terms of Use, pursuant to Section 10 (“Term, Termination”), at any time before 3 November 2026. If you have any questions about these changes, please contact us.
Thanks for being part of the eBay community.
