ebay debit on my statement

I Have a debit on my bank statement stating an ebay purchase, how do I research this transaction.

Maybe it's subscription fees for eBay Plus or Smarty Cash Back.

What is the amount ?

Have you bought anything recently ?

Its around $500, havnt pourchased anything,. Statement nominates ebay transaction with a bunch of numbers.

Has a family member or friend had access to your account ?

I would be very concerned that your account may have been hacked. Go to the link below and follow up with it, you should also contact your bank and see what they can do.

Does the amount not match some you have bought?

Or something you have signed up to (agreeing to pay the fees involved for doing so?) (such as eBay Plus or Smartycashback)

You would need to contact your bank if you don't know, or if you think there has been an unauthorised payment
