Ebay is promoting itself as free in Australia yet I am still be charged fees - Why
Summary: ago5 expressed frustration with eBay for charging fees despite their promotion of free selling in Australia. They clarified that they do not fall into any category that would typically incur charges and are unable to contact customer support. *casey* and gutterpunkz05 suggested that ago5 might have an eBay store, which would subject them to fees. ago5 denied setting up a store and questioned how their account could change without their consent. twyngwyn and gutterpunkz05 tried to clarify the situation, suggesting the account might have migrated to a pro seller subscription, which involves fees.
Ebay is promoting that it is now free to sell in Australia yet I am being charged fees. I have gone through the Help menus and guess what it's no help . I am not :
a) a pro seller
b) exceeding the monthly listing quota
c) selling in the categories that attract fees
d) selling to overseas buyers
e) posting to overseas addresses
f) using listing options that attract fees
I cannot find an operator to talk to is there phone I can call . I feel the Ebay maybe misrepresenting it services and the promotion is misleading Wha..its

·3 weeks agoYou appear to have an ebay store!
You must have missed the ebay message (12th May) advising that store subscriptions were changing to pro subscriptions, as such you are,
a) a pro seller
and as such ebays selling fees still apply to you.

·3 weeks ago · EditedYour FB profile shows the store door, and member quick links has a link to view members store.
As stated store subscriptions are now pro seller subscriptions, you can be the least professional seller in the known universe, but have a pro seller subscription, to which ebays selling fees will apply.
Have you checked your ebay messages re the changes. Messages commenced about 12th of May, unless you have deleted them go back and see what subscription was to apply to your account.
Just to add the messages should also advise how to change to free selling.
