You should read these Help pages:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814

    https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/getting-paid/registering-seller?id=4792

    https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=4816

The only way to be paid on eBay is through Managed Payments. eBay will receive the buyer’s payment (whether the payment is made by credit card, PayPal, Afterpay, whatever), and will automatically hold back all associated fees and associated costs on the purchase. The remaining funds will be disbursed into seller’s bank account as per the selected payout schedule.

    CAVEATS:

    • If seller is considered a new seller, or selling pattern has changed, they will typically have their payments on hold. The hold may be 14 days or 30 days.

    • After a seller is no longer considered new, holds will no longer apply. There’s no magic formula for this, but steady regular sales are the way forward.

    • If seller’s payments are not on hold, it will usually take 2 days for funds to be disbursed (for, eg., daily schedule).

    • For funds to appear into verified bank account once disbursed differs from bank to bank.

    • All payments are disbursed to the seller’s verified bank account.

    • Bank account must be transactional (ie, funds can be both deposited and withdrawn).

    • Bank account name must exactly match name in eBay account.

    • Bank account must be verified through either

         • the login credential method, or

         • the microdeposit method.

    • If using the login credential method, community members suggest changing password on bank account after verification, just in case.

    • Sellers must also verify their ID via photo ID (driver licence or passport). Other photo ID may possibly be used but anecdotally it’s been difficult for some.

Read the linked pages for more details.

Presumably it is for payments from sales on eBay, if that is the case then the account must match exactly the details of your name on your eBay account.

Also you must be signed up for and verified on both your bank account and personal details for Managed Payments, or else you will never get the proceeds of any sales.
