on some purchases their are two transactions on bank statements.
This can happen when dealing with a seller who is signed up to Global Shipping Program. It can also happen when making an overseas transaction as the GST charged is usually a separate charge.
Make a few purchases from overseas transactions and the ‘unexplained’ bank statement items can add up.
Have spoken with bank and they said to contact eBay. Easier said than done! Have not signed up to anything and my eBay purchases show no purchases match date or amount. eBay and banks need to be more accountable these days!! Times have changed and no one takes responsibity for scammers and shonkies.
I would be switching banks then. If you have told them there are unauthorised transactions and you have signed whatever statement the give you they need to investigate the charges and cancel or at least suspend you card. Not sure what eBay chat hours are over Christmas and New Year, obviously you will want to contact them and report your account has been compromised

Have you contacted your bank?
Are you aware that purchases now are made to eBay, not individual sellers?
Have you signed up for eBay Plus or Smartycash?
What do you think other members, the only people who read the boards, can do?
