Sadly I am dealing with the same thing. Cost almost $200 and almost been a year as well. Also waiting for a dress since Dec, never posted. Ebay has gone down hill so bad. They aren't helping.

To wait a year is ridiculous. eBay gives buyers the tools to either get their items or a refund for not receiving their items. I think you are a bit late to the party on the dress also.

They will not help because you did not do anything to get help. Simple as that. Posting the same thing over and over is not going to change anything.

So you still have not figured out, that it is your fault ebay can no longer help. There is a legal premis, Ignorance is no excuse. It is your ignorance of procedures that has created your position.

Over a year, surely you jest.  Absolutely no way to force a refund via any means.

As you are also a seller,  what do you expect to do, when a buyer seeks a refund  12 months later.

I dont think your understanding i asked for an answer to where my item is every month... and now when its one year i get a response.. do you understand these are online criminals they dont respond to your msgs and then after one year when i continue to ask where is my item they proceed to policy they should be banned and i should be given a refund as msgs are clearly there. i had no idea to ask to take it further as i was new to ebay

Being new to eBay does not prevent you from reading & using the eBay Money Back Guarantee on the listing. Use this experience as a lesson in what not to do. e listing.

Yes, we do understand. You did not use any of the tools you were given, nor follow policy. How did you expect to get anywhere when eBay knew nothing about. Your. Issue? Being new does not prevent you from looking at the buying basics, or knowing what you are doing or who you are buying from. Everything you needed to know was right there.

you are not new, you joined eBay in 2015 so have had many years to read basics

Yelling at other members will not get you one

You should have followed the proper process and not played around with the seller

You could have had your money back but you choose to ignore all the tools you were given to do so

You do not get anything after all this time

No matter how much you yell at people here

How on earth do you expect to do anything about an INR after 12 months?  You have been on Ebay long enough to know the ropes and not leave things that long.  The idea can't have been very important to you to wait that long.  Next time do things in a timely manner.

Please DO NOT type in all caps, it is considered yelling and also makes it hard to read.

AFTER ONE YEAR THERE IS NOT A LOT, IF ANYTHING, THAT CAN BE DONE.  YOU ARE NOT CONTACTING EBAY HERE.  WE ARE MEMBERS JUST LIKE YOU. WAS THE ITEM A HEARING AID BY ANY CHANCE? JUST CURIOUS.

When a seller does not help with a problem, you have to stop communication with him or her and open a case. You have 30 days since the last day of the estimated delivery to open a case on eBay, and 180 days since the date of purchase to open a case in PayPal (if you used PayPal of course).

Sadly, after a year it is too late for both.
