If you don’t know, on do you expect other members could possibly have any idea?
Have they really taken it, or did you get an email from a scammer pretending they have taken it?
Money you actually owed for something?
If you believe the money really has been taken without your permission, have you reported it already, as you should have done?
By the way, saying beware of this buyer in the reply to the person who begged you is pointless. Nobody else has any idea who you are talking about since nobody else sees the buyer ID
these discussion boards are not a direct line of communicating with either eBay or PayPal, responses come from regular members like you and I.
If you provide some details about the payment, someone may be able to offer advice. Things like how much and who paid to as well as any description of what the payment was for will help.
Failing that, I could guess the payment was to eBay international, was $49 and was for eBay plus . . . but I am only guessing. Either that, or $19 to SmartyCash.

If you want to know about a PayPal transaction, wouldn't it be more appropriate to ask PayPal? They're the ones who can answer your question.
