We all know about the DDoS attack in April which crippled eBay and affect 10s of thousands of sellers. I lost over 200 listings during this DDoS attack. They simply vanished into cyberspace. Then there was a crash in June, on the 13th and 14th I think when I lost 100 listings each day. Exactly the same scenario as with the DDoS attack, the listings completely vanished. Now, yesterday, 6th July 2026 eBay again crashed and, again, I lost over 50 listings. Fortunately I am old school and work from paper records. I am now slowly going through my 1000 odd listings and finding not only double ups, but triple ups and quadruple ups. eBay Help stated "impossible" - so I sent them screen shots and, to my absolute dismay, the chat was immediately ended. I just want to be protected from "punishment" when their bots find double/triple/quadruple listings - I can't list them so how can they jump on me. Anyway, it is recorded in the Chat Transcript and I encourage other sellers to do the same to protect themselves. Happy selling (when the system is working)!
