Buying from the UK

I live in Australia and when I try to buy goods from Ebay.co.uk this message comes up, "seller won't ship to Australia".
Unfortunately for the seller and myself this is not true. Because every seller i have messaged said They would send to Australia.
when I looked on youtube they say to go to shipping preferences and change my address there. That would be good, but in "my ebay" I can't find shipping prefences.
How do i fix this? Thanks in advance for any help.
