Discount on invoice
Combining multipel order in one invoice:
I put a discount amount in and it always shows:
Invalid discount amount. Please enter a discount less than AU $0.00 (postage + sales tax).
I would like to discount the invoice by $0.25.
Why doesn't it allow me to offer a discount?
I am abel to refund every amount I like, but I can't ad a discount befor they pay!

You won't win any medals for discounting 25 cents.

·2 years agoThey've got the sale already.
They're talking about combining an order and discounting a lousy 25 cents.

·2 years agoIs to his in relation to any of the items for which you’re offering free postage? You cannot give a postage discount if the postage you offer is $0.00.

OP2 years agoI don't want to give a postage discount. I would like to give a discount on the items they buy, with or without postage.

·2 years agoUnfortunately the discount on the invoice can't be higher than the postage cost, which means you can't give any discount when you use "free postage".
We discovered this several years ago when we were quite new sellers, and it has never changed.
We have no idea why, that's just how it has been ever since we've been selling.
Your only choices seem to be to make a special listing for the buyer with the new price, or give them a refund after they pay. Neither is ideal, but better than nothing.
