EBay Australia check out issue
Is anyone else have trouble paying for items purchased from the USA in Australia?
I can’t pay for items won because each time I attempt to pay, it says “Check out Error” and “something went wrong. Please try to check out again”.
I have called eBay and spoken to agents via chat, they keep saying it’s getting fixed and to give it 24 hours, but the problem has been going on four days.
I have been searching for anyone else that’s had this problem or any kind of message from eBay advising of the issue but can’t find anything. I have been told that others are experiencing the same issues.
does anyone know how or when it will get fixed?

·2 years agoYes - I'm getting the same error.
When using my regular card failed, I've tried to pay via Paypal and get exactly the same response.
This sort of problem ought to be listed on a "System Status" page.
I'll give it until Tuesday morning (AU time, which will be close of business Monday Pacific time) before complaining further.
