Ebay sent wrong recall notice

I received an email today from Ebay about a recall on a recent purchase.
Item details: 365169873457 - Carton of 5pcs 36W LEDVANCE LED Panel Ceiling Light 600x600mm 4000K 120° 240V
I searched the ACCC and manufacturer websites to find batch numbers affected etc, with no results.
So I contacted the seller via Ebay and they said it was a mistake and the recall mentioned was about the wrong product.
I hope Ebay emails a retraction to the customers affected, so the seller doesn't have to reply to lots of worried people about this.

No the seller is very good and the product was brand new etc. They responded very quickly.
I just feel sorry for the seller having to spend the time replying to concerned customers because of a mistake that Ebay made.
Ebay has been made aware that their mistake was about a different product, so Ebay should email those customers and retract that recall notice.

People should be very worried about buying any electrical item/battery/ similar from random eBay sellers
Genuine sellers who sell these items and who are authorised to do so would be aware such things come hand in hand with selling such items on line, and will be professional enough to respond to concerned customers
