    Item stuck in Ebay warehouse

    Hi

I have an item I have purchased that seems to be stuck in a Ebay warehouse and hasn't moved in the last month. The address label given to the seller has this warehouse address on it and not my own in Australia. Does that seem right?

    Cheers

And don't accept a replacement either (many people have problems with receiving replacements). Just get your money back.

And don't close it if the seller asks you to.

I just remembered that many sellers now use eBay international shipping if this is what you mean.

It is very similar to Pitney Bowes in that they first send the item to a shipping hub in the US, and the item is then sent to the intended recipient from there.

You can still check the tracking at the site indicated above.

Open an INR case,  it may still be in transit,  but it may also be a false label they have sent you to delay for the time to open a case.

Don't waste more time, do it, and do it now

It was sent from the USA and the seller sent through a picture of the shipping label. The tracking reads we have your item at our shipping hub and is being inspected.

I guess it is Pitney Bowes then.

It is normal that they first send the item to their shipping hub (Erlanger I think?), but usually it only takes a few days for them to inspect an item and then forward it.

Where did you check the tracking?

This site is quite good for international items: https://parcelsapp.com/

It even indicates the next tracking number (if more than one is used).

The item is being sent with eBay International Shipping.

You should have an Estimated Delivery Date.

You also have the protection of the eBay Money Back Guarantee if the item does not arrive on time.

Ebay don't warehouse any stock for sellers.

If it has past its Expected Delivery Date open an Item not received case NOW

I think the OP means the warehouse of some courier company like Aramex? I once had an item in one of their warehouses also for about a month, well, that's what the tracking said (waiting to be processed). This is sadly not even unusual,  and quite often they don't even have the item yet because it has to arrive from China.

Yes, OP, open a case when it is past the delivery date.

How do you know the address on the label?

Definitely from China, but how do you know what's on the label?

The item has most probably been sent from China to the warehouse, and will then be sent to you once it arrives in Australia. A common problem with drop-shipped items and sellers registered in China, sadly.
