Contact the seller. Posting off topic on the member to member forum won't do anything to get the other item

So rather than posting a comment on a thread about something totally unrelated, open and follow through with an item not as described dispute

If you do not know how, open your own topic about *this* issue

You are the only one who can do this, other members cannot do it for you

And (especially)  if this is from the seller in China, stop trying to charge a clearly faulty item and risk burning down your home or giving yourself an electric shock

It is not going to be up to Australian Safety Standards for one thing

This is nothing to do with Union Lucky Returns (who are a logistics company for Chinese sellers etc.) Rather, you must open a Not As Described dispute under eBay’s Money Back Guarantee for a full refund. The seller must provide a return postage label and you must post back to the address shown in the dispute.

    It's a drop-ship warehousing company.

i.e. You might purchase something online from Renogy AU, an online Solar/Battery vendor. They have local stock managed by Union Lucky Returns who will ship the order to you at the request of the vendor.

They deal with many vendors products and are just the middle-man. If you have a problem with a product you purchased that was shipped from them, go back to the vendor you purchased it from, not Union Lucky Returns.

I received an email from Union Lucky Returns very early this morning.

The email informed me that my parcel was on the way.

I didn't recognise the name of the seller.

I did check the trading names of eBay sellers with whom I've had recent contact.

As I suspected none of my recent purchases (since mid 2023) were from this seller.

I reported the email as spam and I also blocked the email address.

Thankfully I got on to it before anything was paid - perhaps that may have been the next step in their plan to scam me?

Thanks to those who have raised the alarm regarding this so called seller.

Lucky Union returns is NOT a seller, as has been said several times . If you have bought items from sellers registered in China, there is a real possibility that item will be sent via Lucky Union returns

I don't know who they are but not from a lack of trying, I am in a battle with them about returning an I item worth $200 approx. They argue and argue, they offer me compensation at 10% 20% and I am upto 80%, It was a simple item return with a refund required as per consumer laws. Many many emails back and forth, last email suggested I destroy the item and send evidence. They do not answer questions and will not supply business details. They are not complying with consumer law and business law at this time with my case. I will not buy from them again. Item return was done with eBay supplied postage label and went to Chullora Sydney. The 3 people who have answered my email do not have a grasp on the English language and have suggested I keep the item when I have informed them multiple times it has been returned . For some reason they did not want me to send it back, There is something very fishy  with this eBay seller and where there is smoke there is fire I believe,

Australian law does not apply to sellers in China.

You do know who they are because it has been explained in this thread already.

There is no battle if you use the tools eBay give you for items not as described ., and uploaded the tracking to the case when you do within the time limit

No need for emails back and forth, no need to play with the seller. That is you choice to do so.

Chullora is a known 'cover' for sellers in China who were shown as being registered in China in the first place

One would certainly hope you would not choose to again buy from a dodgy seller

    Known what?

send  eBay to A Current Affair on what grounds exactly?

Did you check their feedback before buying?

see on every listing that 'seller assumes responsibility for all listings?

open and follow through with an item not as described dispute?

    none of the above?

You are responsible for your own buying choices ,including buying from dodgy sellers in China

All the information is there, clearly available

All sellers selling to australia, even the giants like steam which is a usa company needs to comply with aus consumer law in order to sell to aus, even steam got fined millions for not accepting returns. Items can always be returned if in same condition as sold to or if it's within a certain specification like damaged packaging but good product still

It is tied in with govt aus post who China so easily control and keep getting caught out in double standards. however the many items that seem to have arrived via lucky returns all arrived without incident, are tied to aus post for final delivery under a common free postage ebay sales deal. There may be some misleading trading themes but govt regulators seem to allow it so must be within the lines. Have one listed by aus post from them due today actually

I recently ordered a portable ice bath for my sons Christmas present from “Recover portable ice baths” which was advertised on Facebook as being Australian owned. The item took almost 4 weeks to arrive even though they advertise fast shipping but 14 days processing time. Anyway the order arrived and the sender address is “union lucky returns” return address PO BOX 6008 CHULLORA NSW 1405. On their website their address is just noted as Gold Coast QLD but they do mention shipping from their Sydney warehouse and its a .com website not a .com.au website so it so appears to be drop shipping.

In my case I received the item I ordered and I also paid with PayPal which is pretty secure so the seller doesn’t get my financial info + if the order isn’t delivered you can easily get your money back from PayPal. Hence I only ever used PayPal for online orders.

I can’t judge quality of the product yet as it’s a Christmas present so I’ve left it in the original box but it looks like everything is in there.

I was just curious about the company name “Union lucky returns” so I googled it and when it came up as a “SCAM” I looked into it more. Considering everything is really well advertised (they even have an affiliate referral programme) in comparison to most dodgy Chinese online shops- my guess is that it’s all run by an Aussie & they’ve done the website/advertising but are using Chinese drop shipped products.

That's not quite correct, if the seller can show by tracking that the item was sent, they will win a dispute for non-delivery. It's only with eBay's MBG that the seller has to show both tracking that the item was sent AND the delivery of that item.

Are'nt they a 'facility' sellers who are drop shipping from China use?

You might need to give other members more info if you want us to try to help

Did a seller ask you to use their address to return something to?

Do you have something being sent out of there?

Have you already returned something 'to' there and have issues?
