Wanting to enable eBayplus badge
Summary: bitsindustries is seeking advice on enabling the eBay Plus badge on their listings. Despite meeting several requirements like 30-day returns and express shipping, the badge is not enabled. Suggestions from padi*0409, *casey*, and lezned-toycollector indicate that additional criteria, such as offering free standard shipping alongside express options, need to be met. Links to resources for joining eBay Plus and contacting eBay support were also provided. bitsindustries expressed gratitude for the assistance.
I am currently on a seller Pro Basic plan and my seller level is "Top Rated". All my listings have 30-day returns, same day shipping or 1 day handling time and free express shipping.
I have a return rate of 0.47% and, as far as I can tell, I have done everything required to have eBayplus listings. Though still not enabled.
The "Help" tab is absolutely useless in this instance and gone are the days of customer service humans on a phone, so I was hoping someone here could guide me in the right direction?

·3 months agoBadge is not automatic even if you have all your ducks in a row. Ebay category manager will monitor your account and add if and when they see fit.
Ebay make some poor choices at times and fail to do the eBay Plus justice through awarding it to sellers that don't comply when they get it and not supporting sellers that should have it or supporting further when they do get it.
It was their answer to "prime" but it looks like they gave up after a small effort at the start , especially when so many members only took it up to get a free express and then cancelled.
I have spoken to an eBay Plus seller and they say that eBay plus sales went from 25-30% of total being plus to barely 10% whilst their sales stayed the same . That tells me only 10% uptake on eBay Plus program from buyers after the free trial finished.
So the final piece of advice is don't concern yourself about it. If it happens it happens , it will not change your sales and will do nothing for 90% of your likely transactions

·3 months agoAs well as the handling time and returns requirements, you also need to offer free postage and an express post option for under $15.00

·3 months ago · EditedYou appear to have met all the requirements except for one.
I think your problem may be that to qualify to have the eBay Plus badge automatically shown on your listings , you need to offer "free standard shipping" and a reasonably priced Express Postage option to metro areas.
You only offer free express.
Have a look at the Express Shipping Subsidy:
