·4 months agoeBay told you garbage from a pre-written script, no matter how much you shout about it, that is how it is
Everyone who contacts eBay will get a scripted reply, pre written, pulled up as the 'best answer' to the question asked
The staff do not know policies, changes etc etc, are poorly trained and rarely have experience as buyers and/or sellers
Other members here have provided you with facts
If you rather believe what was said to you from a script, rather than what is really happening, other members cannot help you

OP4 months agoWell we have it whether we like it or,shame they dont teach buyers to actually decline an offer when they dont want it instead of just taking there watch now 4 days before you can send an offer on it again

·4 months agoIn fact, it’s not a new phenomenon. There’s a post on these boards dating back to 2024 with the same issue.

·4 months agoeBay CS reps are on the lower rung of up-to-date information. They respond from scripted reply sheets, and unfortunately don’t have detailed knowledge of many situations that eBayers encounter, nor do they have much authority.
That’s in regard to live human eBay CS reps. Almost like a Sleeping Beauty, these live human CS staff are hedged about with the thorns and thistles of bot agents who handle the attempts of many an eBayer seeking help. Whether you chatted with a human CS rep or a potted-answer-regurgitating bot, I’m not surprised you received the response that you did.

·4 months agoThe 96 hour offers were introduced on the UK and the US sites a long time ago.
I can confirm that I put an item of yours on my watch list and have received a 96 hour offer from you.
Unless someone knows otherwise, this is an AI Overview:

OP4 months agoHi Casey i already know that but i want to know why my offers have changed from 48 hours to 96 hours when Ebay says we are not on 96 hour offers in Australia

·4 months agoConsidering that you admit to already knowing the answer to your question, what exactly is the point of asking it again?
