Ausport lost my buyer’s parcel
Summary: A participant reported an issue with a shipping company, stating that they lost a parcel intended for a buyer, leading to a frustrating situation. There is no further discussion or developments narrated in the responses.
Buyer purchased my used tablet worth over $300 of value and auspost lost it in a facility. Have been in contact with Australian post for over a week now and I’m starting to think they have lost the parcel. My buyer and I are starting to worry what happens next. I don’t know what to do next as this is the first time I had to deal with this. Obviously the buyer will eventually submit a refund but am I just $300 loss or does eBay or Australia post refund me back for my loss. I can’t afford to loose that amount of money

·5 months agoThe buyer is covered under eBay. You on the otherhand unless you have taken "Extra Cover" with Aust Post, you will only be covered for $100 if the parcel is declared lost. You will need to submit a copy of an invoice from where you purchased it from originally as part of your claim with them. Aust Post will take 2 weeks before declaring the parcel lost as they investigate where it may be in that time.
