·1 year agoAre you all corrupted all I would like is to talk to a human person

·1 year agoNo other members are not corrupt (not sure how you figure that when members have simply provided facts
If you want to talk to someone from eBay, go for it. No reason why you can't
No point asking what the problem is since you consider fellow members 'corrupt'

·1 year agoWhy waste your time coming here and all us poor corrupted peeps when you can read up on how ebay works any time you like.
You have not traded on this account for over 12 months. Maybe somewhere they wont be corrupt.
At least we know how to READ instructions

·3 years agoMaybe selling isn't for you. It is your responsibility to keep up to date with rules & regs as they change frequently. You can open a dozen bank accounts but that is not going to help. Read the info that has been provided and follow each step as you go.
If it is this a/c you are referring to it has been over 12 months since you sold. There have been dozens of changes in that time.

OP3 years agoListed item to sell and at auction end buyer canceled sale. I contacted ebay who said all would b fine and do nothing. Thrn ebay kept sending a update yr bank details as u owe us $147. After contacting them numerous times i was told if i updated details no money would b taken , it would just work out . Wrong . Money was taken out of account so i contacted them again . No problem - money will b returned within 72 hrs. Well tht was 4 months ago. When i try update account details u says unable to verify account. I actually opened a new account yesterday snd tried tht . cant use tht either. Both are nab accounts. Ebay had no problem taking money from the account i cant use the money to purchase on ebay and i cant transfer either

·3 years agoBuyers cannot cancel sales, they can only request a cancellation.
It sounds like you are not signed up for managed payments, which has been in place for more than 2 years.
You need to provide valid photographic ID (passport or driers licence) and also have to verify your bank account (with micro deposits).
With managed payments, all fees are now taken up front at the time of the sale, and the balance is sent to your bank account.
This has ZERO to do with any ombudsman - this is a question of you not staying up to date with the current rules and regulations on Ebay.
I would highly suggest you read the information on managed payments and go through the process properly.

·3 years agoGood grief - what does being a member for 20 years have to do with anything?
Isn't there a red banner in your seller hub telling you to sign up for managed payments?
Or anything in your Ebay message centre about it?
Here is the article explaining managed payments and which steps to follow in the correct order - read it thoroughly! IT IS A STEP BY STEP PROCESS. Bank account verification only happens at the end, once your ID is verified.

·3 years agoYou do not appear to have sold for a significant period, are you being required to sign on to managed payments to resume selling.
(just a guess)

·3 years agoHi just checking how to do I post a question here in regards to a buyer that have received the item but changed her mind and raising a dispute saying that it’s “not authentic” as an excuse to return the item because the shoes didn’t fit her, although I have given her all the measurements and asked her to try the shoes at the boutique physically before purchasing? Many thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

·2 years agoHi to everyone 👋
I purchased a tv and when it arrived, it was broken . I have been trying and trying to get a refund from the company, but they are saying that they have not received my tv I sent them, they gave me a return form that you can hardly read, and can not in large the form, so I asked ebay to step in and help me.
Ebay has been giving me excuses over and over again. It doesn't matter what I send back as proof of purchase and proof of return form, just keep coming up with more and more excuses.
Money back guarantee, what a joke.
I am going to lose $780 to a deceitful sell, never ever should you buy anything from them, Money back guarantee, more like, we will rip you off guarantee.

·2 years agoYou need to follow the correct eBay policy from the start to be covered by their MBG
You needed to have opened and followed through with an item not as described dispute
Did you do that, or did you do 'what the seller said?
What return form do you mean?
If you had followed policy, there would be no reason you would not have been covered
But from what you have written , it does not sound like that happened
And the high volume seller you mention has beyond shocking feedback, 95% . Seriously

·2 years agoYou must open a case/dispute for refund/return on the basis of not as described. Within that, you must provide evidence of delivery to the seller (tracking number) - you actually should have sent back using the label provided by either the seller or eBay within the dispute… If you don’t provide the tracking number in the dispute, eBay’s bot-driven dispute process cannot ascertain that you’ve returned the item.
The tracking number must show the delivery status as “delivered”.
If the seller doesn’t refund you within 3 business days of the item being received back, you should ask eBay to step in (escalate the case) within the open request/case. You have 21 days to either be satisfied by the seller (receive refund) or ask eBay to step in. If you don’t, the case will automatically close and you will not be refunded; it cannot be reopened.
Did you follow all of these steps?
Is the case closed now?
If so, then you have two other ways to be refunded. This thread is already a bit old, and it was started for a completely different issue, so I suggest you open a new thread for your specific issue, addressing the points I’ve made. We (the community members) can continue to give some suggestions and advice in the new thread, based on your reply to the above points.
