Beware - 50/50 chance Australia Post will deliver your Overseas parcel to Your Sender address
Summary: bluesbdoull shared an issue with Australia Post delivering an international parcel to their return address instead of the intended destination in New Zealand. They expressed frustration since Australia Post refused to redirect the parcel, citing customs label issues, and noted that it was incorrectly marked as delivered. Additionally, eBay would not assist, stating it was a matter between the seller and the shipping carrier. twyngwyn inquired about the possibility of a postage refund, while gutterpunkz05 shared their skepticism and noted they had never experienced a similar issue.
How may sellers out there have seen an Incompetent Australia Post deliver an international parcel to their return address due to a sorting error
Happened to me where a parcel addressed to a buyer in NZ was delivered to my PO Box (Sender Address) in Victoria
Australia Post wouldn't even retrieve the parcel and re-direct it to NZ
Reason :- They cannot recycle the customs label and to add further insult its recorded as being delivered in their system
Ebay wouldn't even intervene despite the label being generated on their platform - Reason given :- We don't intervene in issues involving a seller & the shipping carrier however seller protection covers you

·3 days agoIt happened to you once and that makes it 50/50?
Have you only ever sent two parcels overseas or are you just having a lend?
Or are you just purely annoyed at Australia Post and making up stories?
Back when I was selling on my selling ID, I never had such an issue when posting to The UK/US nor NZ

·3 days agoHi there, Did it actually get to customs.
50/50 ??? Love to see how you justify such a claim!
Personally, have never had an International item returned, and can only recall having 1 item returned, which buyer failed to collect from a parcel locker.
