Simple as that. Buyer opened an INR case, (with a lot of attitude in their language), I asked them to confirm their delivery address, I pointed out the address on their order was different (they gave the wrong street number for their apartment block. I pointed this out, said I was happy for them to buy again or would refund if Aus Post returned as undelivered). They didn't buy again, left the case open, Ebay found in their favour and took my money to refund.Only a $20 item, Ebay said - 'because no tracking, we have no proof you shipped it, so you lose'. Seller of over 20 years here, impeccable feedback. I will happily reship any lost order, with tracking, but pointless to reship to a non-existent address, not fair to reship when the buyer gave the wrong address.I appealed the case and lost, Ebay just parrot back "no tracking means no proof you ever shipped, bye bye." Zero acknowledgement of the address issue, each time I asked them to tell me what I should do when a buyer used a non-existent address, they literally ignore the question, refuse to acknowledge it. Small $ I know, but I literally pay Ebay thousands a year in seller fees, from a consumer POV this is atrocious customer service. 'Thank you for being a loyal customer of 24 years....' as an opener in support chat is meaningless.Rant over.
