Buyer or eBay cancelling a sale?
Made a sale after accepting an offer. Buyer appears to have not paid. Transaction cancelled without my approval and I was never contacted. Does the buyer get a strike here? What is the consequence for non-payment and why wasn't I asked about the cancellation?

Have you got anything set up in your settings to cancel an order if payment is not made after x amount of time?

Using Preferences for items awaiting payment
You can automate how you manage unpaid items on our Selling preferences page. For items awaiting payment, you can select how many days buyers have to pay for items. Typically, orders that aren't paid for will be cancelled automatically after 4 or more calendar days. For combined invoices, the time frame is based on when the most recent item on the invoice was purchased.
