Buyer wanting to cancel after winning

Someone bid and won on an item I listed.

after two payment reminders they now want to cancel the order.
they have done this before to other seller according to their feedback.

    what can I do?

IF the buyer sent you  one of the new  "cancel an order" requests and you  accept,  your fees will be refunded to you.

If you don't respond, eBay will automatically  cancel the order after 3 days and your fees will be refunded to you.

That's  a different process to you  opening a cancellation.

You can't cancel an order twice.

You should not cancel unless you have the option to select “Buyer didn’t pay” as the reason.

This option appears four days after the sale – but not if you send another invoice/official payment reminder. Once you do that, it “resets” and gives the buyer another 4 days.

Unless you choose “buyer didn’t pay”, the buyer will be free to go on his/her way without any consequence. If you choose that “buyer didn’t pay” option, however, buyer should get an invisible strike. Two of those will see the buyer blocked automatically from bidding on or buying from a great many sellers.

Make sure your buyer requirements are set up so that you will be one of those sellers.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/bmgt/buyerrequirements (Set up the blocks.)

Screenshot of the settings you’ll want:

A shame other sellers are giving this time waster false positive feedback

rewarding them with big green ticks and encouraging this behaviour
