Can't find cardboard packaging for my bag that I want to sell.
Silly me chucked out the original packaging for this bag that i now want to sell.
Now i'm having trouble finding packaging at the post office or even custom packaging for something that measures: L340mm x W40mmxH430mm
It's an LV Neverfull Medium.
Does anyone know what I can do in this instance? Custom packaging places have a minimum order and i only want one cardboard box!

·1 year agoIf your LV bag is going to be listed with an Authenticity Guarantee, while I don't think it's compulsory
(someone else may know for sure) it's highly recommended you send the bag to the Authenticator in a box.
That's what I would use.

·1 year agoI read that first but, unless I've missed it, I can't see anywhere that specifies exactly how it has to be packaged.
May need Specsavers again !
I'd still recommend a box., with padding around the bag inside.

to send to the authenticators.
LV handbags are included in the program.
It states ebay will add it to the listing.

·1 year agoAs far as I know, LV bags have always been in the program as long as they are:
Category specific
Not specified as customised
Buy It Now or current bid price of $350 or more (excluding postage), including listings accepting best offer
and Item location is in Australia

OP1 year agoi mean customised box for my bag as i can't find a place that sells a box that matches its measurements.

·1 year agoAustralia Post sells boxes... Bunnings sell boxes... there are umpteen dozens of packaging manufacturers out there who sell boxes... Officeworks sell boxes... liquor stores toss out numerous boxes each day... grocery stores such as IGA, Foodworks, Woolworths, etc. provide boxes free of charge.
It doesn't take any effort to cut a box down to size. Stop wasting your time looking for a box which fits your item exactly, concentrate on meeting the 2 lager dimensions and spend a few seconds modifying it to meet your requirements.
Tip: beer cartons are the easiest to modify

OP1 year agoyes, the bag will be sent to authenticators but wouldn't they just use the same box i sent them to the buyer?
why would they expend extra cost on their own packaging?

·1 year agoCuldn't you get a sturdy box that is a little bigger than needed, wrap the bag in tissue & ribbon then pad it out with bubble wrap or some sort of nice paper?

OP1 year agohadn't considered this. only thing is, satchel wouldn't really provide the protection i need. it's an expensive bag!
