Ebay has put a selling hold on my account and I don't know why (reupload)
Summary: q-2667 expressed concern over a selling hold placed on their account by a popular online marketplace without explanation. sandypebbles engaged in the discussion, though the specific details were not disclosed in the provided content. The conversation seems to focus on understanding the reasons behind the account hold and how to resolve the issue.
I tried to start an auction to sell a couple of things, almost a few weeks ago around mid December, however, it keeps putting up this message for me:
In order to keep eBay a safe and trustworthy environment, we regularly review marketplace activity. As part of our review, we've temporarily placed a selling hold on your account. This hold will prevent you from listing new items.

I haven't gotten any messages from eBay that I could find, nor could I find a reason why it was put on hold, that I cannot sell anything, even outside an auction. I also tried to get customer support but its just an ai with bare minimal responses, I couldn't find a email or phone number to contact. Can anyone help me?
(reupload because I accidentally used the American forum instead of the Aussie one, my bad)

·9 months agoYou need to sign up to Managed Payments if you want to sell, there is no other option to be paid
It is more than just uploading your ID
Registering as a seller | eBay
If you have not done that, that would be why they are not allowing you to list anything else
