Entering the full bank account number
I have sold over $1000 of sewing patterns , waited my 21 days.
I am getting stuck in a loop. I need to verify my bank, I enter the account number , BSB and then get to a page that says enter the full bank account number. I have tried the 9 digits, 9 digits + 0 at beginning, 9 digits + 00 at beginning, BSB+ 9 digits. all fail.
I have been to the bank.
I have seen no money.
I have posted over 100 items
What is a full bank account number???

·2 years agoMy account has only 6 numbers - no problem.
If a - is in the account no. such as 77-3407 - don't put in the -.

·2 years agoI find it a bit odd that bank numbers are being requested when they're being provided in the previous step, under the correct names / formats - I have never had a form request bank details like that. Usually it's Account name, BSB, Account number, and with eBay "Full account name" is required for data matching (as in, your name as it appears on the account, where normally it's not even checked let alone matched for transfers) - have they asked for account name at any other stage? Wondering if there might be a mistake in the form or something.

Oh maybe the scammers know as well, but hopefully non of the forum members know.
PS. why did you wait the 21 days before trying to enter your bank details?

·2 years agoAfter having several attempts to transfer money rejected I realised that the account number I was copying and pasting included a space. My bank was leaving off the last digit of the number I was pasting. As soon as I deleted the space and inserted the last digit, the transfer went through.
