Final Value Fee for seller & buyer 'Import Tax'

Can anyone point me to where Ebay state in their seller terms and conditions the Final Value Fees and the import tax the buyer pays?
eg - just sold a book to NZ for $30, with $24 post, with the buyer paying an added $8.10 GST.
The seller fees are based on $62.10, not the $54.
The international fee charge is also based on the $62.10, not the $54.
I can't find where it's stated that they add the import tax the buyer pays to the overall final value fee they charge the seller. Any help finding this would be great. Thanks!

·2 years agoOMG, if it's not bad enough that they take a % of the postage (leaving you out of pocket if you quote correctly on overseas postage) I've just discovered they charge a final value fee on import tax that the seller doesn't even receive!
Fixed fees, variable fees, international sales fee, currency conversion charge (if applic), GST & fees on import tax.
Big turn off for selling OS. 😞

·2 years agoThis is the biggest scam. Just another gouging tactic by eBay. They have a lot of nerve charging final value fees on tax that they collect for another Country - if the Seller doesn't receive the funds, then the amount should not be included when working out the sale amount. Ugh!!!!!

·2 years agoIts as clear as day in the T&C's, but you hadnt bothered to read them before agreeing to them. You can hardly call it a scam, they are upfront about it.
