First time auctioning a vehicle, reserve not met, error message when using Second Chance Offer

Appreciate any assistance for auction newbie...

First time auctioning a vehicle, reserve not met.
Attempting Second Chance Offer option for 2nd Bidder at $600.
Receiving error message about "Buy It Now Price".
This was not an option used in original auction and no obvious place to show 600.

    Two things:

    1)  Second Chance Offers in the Motor Vehicle category with a reserve not met , are different  to other categories in that you can change the  price  of the offer ...  from the  actual bidding amount.

    Are you using the app?

It may be a glitch  so have you tried using a different browser or device to see if there's a   "buy it now" box for you to fill in either with $600 or a different amount ?

    2) Although it may not be the case here, buyers can opt out of receiving second chance offers in their buying preferences , so it wouldn't be possible to send those buyers any offers.

    Thank you Casey
The "Buy It Now" box is not visible to me - may be a glitch as it is not the first seen today.
My buyer is very keen to buy.
    Will try again tomorrow.
    Appreciate you assistance.

Just my opinion, but I feel that Mercedes is worth a lot more than the $600 you're thinking of selling it for.

Have a look at the link below.

Maybe a point being that many people are going to see a ‘too good to be true’ price and avoid it like the plague

Thank you Padi & Sandy for your insights.
It seems I should have asked technical support rather than eBay Community pages.

We bought the 2003 Mercedes Coupe in 2013 for $12,500 - 21% of the 2003 new price.
Ten years old with 100,000km on the clock.

Twelve years later, a second car is no longer needed as we are both retired.
    Almost 400,000km now.
    Four weeks before rego due.
Spending $3,500 for me to drive a vehicle that is no longer required on November 7 does not make good financial sense.
    Time for a new owner.

    Sold today for $600
    Details at https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/357797822393
    Auction Cost $80
    Cost saved $3,500
Total now in my pocket over $4,000

Luxury is nice to own but it does not last forever.

Thanks again Casey for your valuable contribution

    $3,500?

    That's a lot for rego. A $600 vehicle shouldn't require comprehensive insurance.

Given that it doesn't start, I'm guessing they're factoring in the cost of repairs.

It is surprising what little luxury cars are worth when they get to a high mileage and especially dont start.

I recently purchased the car in the top photos of the link that you provided. Rear end damage and would not start so only $1200 in auction, turned out to be a blown fuse but on a car that retailed for $150000 22 years ago $2-3000 repair bills add up quick.
