fraud on Ebay

when is ebay going to crack down on these bogus fraudulant items people are selling it is getting ridiculous

selling US stamps that are worth 2 cents for $300 it is quite obvious and they do nothing about it there must be laws against this any body got a suggestion do we have to do a classs action against E bay to make them sit up and notice ah but no Money is power !!!!

As a general comment, the problem is that even if they're very obvious fraudulent listings for non existent items, possibly even listed for $10,000, eBay won't remove them when they're reported.
For the most part they used to when eBay had good trust and safety teams, but they no longer exist.

The sellers with good high feedback for selling stamps have the prices listed realistically but as for the others...

Some are just copy and paste of real sellers' listings, newly registered accounts, and those with old feedback are very often old dormant accounts that have been hijacked by scammers.

The different scammers' listings are often linked / look the same which you can see by searching by title and tick 'include description'.

The stamps and coins categories have always been full of fraudulent listings and they're very much 'buyer beware' categories.

Experienced collectors know exactly what to look for but inexperienced buyers need to do their homework before puchasing anything from the stamps and coins categories.
