Funds on hold: awaiting QR scan
I sold a package as a local pick up, and client has paid through ebay but ebay says Funds on hold: awaiting QR scan. How can there be a QR scan when its a pick up?

Because that is the system eBay have set up for pickups. Included in the T&Cs you claimed to have read when you signed up to sell. Along with many others you agreed to. While you're waiting for your payout it might be a good use of your time to read the FAQs about how selling on eBay works.

Plus your funds will also be on hold for 30 days in any case as you are a new seller
