Help-How do I contact Ebay about my selling issue - phone nos disconnected no email no online chat ??!
Summary: scorp10n is experiencing difficulties updating an eBay order as sent, due to the absence of an option to upload their tracking number. They have tried to reach a live agent without success, as well as disconnected phone lines. They have informed their buyer directly and are seeking suggestions to resolve the issue, noting recent changes in eBay's procedures.
Righto

·Jul 16, 2026 at 12:07 AMNo use complaining here about it to other members
Nobody here made the policy
Nobody from eBay reads here
Even if they did, eBay staff have zero control over what the policy makers do
In addition, sellers agree to the policy when they list
So no use agreeing to it and then complaining to other members a couple of months later about it
The policy is not going to be reversed, and eBay have no idea if you have taken your listings down or not

·Jul 16, 2026 at 12:59 AMIf your items were listed prior to the introduction of free selling, then you were given 2 options. One was to do nothing and thereby accept the changes to the UA. The other was to close your account.
Since you obviously didn't close your account, you accepted the changes.
As you've personally agreed to the exclusive use of eBay labels for your shipping (exclusions aside), that's exactly what you must do.

·2 weeks agoThank you sandypebbles, YES, even a Lesson here for Me. Just as well l followed your advice. Wise Words indeed. Saved from a lot of unwanted "Trouble" in the Future. Point Driven Home, cheers.

·Jul 16, 2026 at 12:45 AMYou know that AP savings band pricing and the eBay labels discount are both available in the public domain, right? This is probably not the best venue to try spinning a yarn.
I highly doubt that any post office will charge an occasional seller savings band 5 rates.
You've quite clearly not done any research at all into actual shipping charges, or you'd know that eBay labels afford you a far greater discount than the "over the counter" rate of savings band 0.
Nobody (especially eBay) really cares if you sell on the site or not, so pulling your listings is fairly pointless - especially when your desired outcome is to actually pay higher prices for postage. I think you'll be pretty much on your own in such a crusade.

·Jul 16, 2026 at 2:02 PMNo, I haven't. You came here looking for advice on how to circumvent eBay policy. That was the entire point of your post - and nobody missed it

OPJul 17, 2026 at 2:03 AM · EditedIncorrect. I came on here for 2 things. 1. how to get in contact with Ebay support (after trying 2 disconnected phone lines, no live chat, no email for contact etc) 2. Yes, I had made a mistake with not understanding the new selling requirement (to buy ebay postage label which yes I agree would have been cheaper and I would have preferred I had done that ) and to see if there might be a fix for not being able to now update my order with 'sent' and 'tracking'. And I have since learned I am not the only seller to be caught up in this.

·Jul 17, 2026 at 3:29 AMI'm not incorrect, but rather stating facts.
Again, you are clearly looking for a way to circumvent eBay policy. You actually admit as much - again - in your post, while telling me that I'm incorrect (which I'm NOT).
Again, nobody is going to give you advice on how to circumvent eBay policy, so asking for such assistance is totally pointless.
You've taken the first step of accepting that you personally created your situation. Next should come the second step of moving on.
You should consider this a learning experience, and comply with eBay policy in any/all of your future transactions.

You're on the Free Selling plan and with the item you sold, you should have used a compulsory eBay label. Tracking is then automatically uploaded.
You didn't use an eBay label so the item can't be marked as sent or a different tracking number uploaded.
eBay Help has agents but it's highly unlikely they'll be able to help you.
As long as you're registered to sell, verified with both your bank and personal details, you'll need to wait up to 31 days for payment.
Managed payments - the buyer pays eBay and eBay pays you

When the funds become available, you'll need to request a payout. It won't be transferred to your bank account automatically
