I have a case where a Buyer has opened an item not received case.Ebay has opened the case stating - we'll automatically respond to some 'Item not received' requests on a seller's behalf.In ebay help I read that:"You won't need to respond to the request, and you won't be responsible for providing a refund" I sent the item via Australia Post (a protected integrated carrier) with tracking which shows the item delivered.Has anyone gone thru this new process?Do ebay really cover the refund?...

Looks like you meet all criteria for seller protection, so yes ebay should pay for any refund
