How to calculate postage with e bay satchels
Summary: vanillastrawberrychocolate is seeking clarifications on using eBay satchels for sending items and is confused about whether they need to weigh each satchel or if there is a set rate for different sizes. twyngwyn suggests that if they are under a free selling option, it's necessary to choose eBay labels. shoppingbag* mentions the difficulties of the new system and advises contacting eBay to speak with a human agent for more help. e_purchasing explains that sellers can choose their terms by selecting different selling plans.
I am using the free selling option.
I was sending my items in Aus Post pre paid satchels - small, medium, large based on size etc. No need to weigh as the small satchel is up to 5kg and its generally clothing items and paying upfront according to size of satchel.
Now I have to use ebay satchels or my own packaging and create a label to take to PO to print out
Today I have purchased e bay satchels on line, small and medium and waiting their arrival.
Question is: do I have to weigh each satchel and caculate or is there a set rate to send an ebay satchel if it is small, medium , large etc.
Will this show when I go to print the label? Is their an option for e bay labels?
Is this then how I charge buyers according to size of ebay satchel
Help, I'm confused?????

·3 months agoThe whole new system thing is a mess, you should be able to choose whether to buy a label or not. Contact eBay and when the robot answers, type "need to talk to an agent" This will get you a human to talk to.

·3 months agoyou should be able to choose whether to buy a label or not.
You do have a choice Free selling or Pro selling or NO selling. All have their terms & conditions that go with that subscription.
I'm on the no selling plan - no fees, choose my own postage but I can't list anything on eBay

·3 months agoHave just looked at some of your items…..if you are free selling, then that is not reflected in your postage choice…..you MUST choose eBay labels
