I have returned an item for a refund because parts were missing.

I returned this package and provided a tracking number that i was told to use. I found out later that this was the wrong tracking number. The correct tracking number was on another piece of paper. I have tried to change the tracking number but cant find a way to do it. I see the seller has already recieved the package and they have told me i need to change the tracking number to the correct one before they can refund my money. I have tried to contact EBay customer service several times and get no response. I left a message on the tracking feedback. I have sent photos to the seller with the receipt with the correct tracking number but nobody seems to be able to find a way to change the tracking number so i can recieve my refund. Nothing shows up on my refund status because it wont show any tracking because of the wrong number. How do i fix this
