INR request for an item buyer hasn't collected from LPO
As the title says, buyer has opened an INR for an item that's awaiting collection from their post office. The item has been awaiting collection for just under 4 weeks and only now contacts me. I've updated tracking to the INR request, but as I haven't had an INR case for ages I'm wondering how ebay will deal with it since they updated their seller protection for INR's a few months ago..

I escalated the case this morning by asking ebay to 'step in'. Case closed in my favour with no refund to the buyer. Thanks to all you guys for the answers 🙂

·3 years agofrom memory, the P.O. will hold for 10 days then return to sender......this obviously has not happened.....the buyer needs to make arrangements for collection ASAP??

·3 years agoIf you are a My Post customer, they will hold it for 4 weeks.
Not the seller's fault the buyer can't make it to the PO. I'd be telling them to stick it where the sun don't shine.

Not particularly relevant to the OP, wherein the buyer wants the item redirected because they 'can't' get to the PO

Have you informed the buyer that's where it is?
You should message them this info through the case.
Help a buyer with an item they didn't receive | eBay
Ebay's policy was that they would lose the case if they didn't collect the item from the PO, but I can't find the relevant policy atm.

·3 years agoIf the buyer doesn't pick it up and it gets returned to you, the buyer will be responsible for the postage to resend it not you. I would be tempted to refund them when it's returned LESS the original postage involved, then block them from buying from you in the future.

... and consequent fees.
A partial refund doesn't include flag fall or the fees on the non-refunded amount.

·3 years agoI am surprised it still there. AP regulations are to hold for 10 working days, after which it is returned to the seller.
