First... don't bump a 12yo thread with an accepted answer to add something of absolutely no relevance. Start your own thread rather than hijacking somebody else's.

Secondly... read up on the policy for trading off eBay 😉

If it's about one of your knives, is the buyer located in Queensland ?

They're not allowed to be sold to buyers in QLD

And if so, the buyer would be very well aware they are not allowed to buy it and are being doubly dodgy by telling you they 'can't pay'. Cancel with the reason 'something wrong with buyer's address' and block them. IF they are indeed a Queenslander trying to get around the block on them buying knives from eBay sellers

Thirdly, in 2013 buyers COULD pay directly to a seller's bank account. That hasn't been the case for many years. Are you signed up to Managed Payments?

Fourthly, If it's nothing to do with a knife and if it's a question about eg: Your $1000 item, I'd consider it a SCAM.

BUT if a buyer's purchased your item and is going to Pick Up , you and the buyer can discuss payment options amongst yourselves.
