Issued a refund early
I issued a refund to a buyer because their package had not arrived yet but not too long after Aus Post confirmed delivery, however, ebay is still trying to take the money out of my account as the refund was processed. Is there a way I can reverse this or notify ebay so they can rectify this?

·4 months agoSo I take it the sales funds had been released by ebay to your bank account. You have authorized ebay to refund the buyers payment in full, which includes there FVF, and you have also authorized ebay to reclaim the payment balance from your account.
As the item has now arrived, the matter of payment is solely between you and the buyer, ebay has no authorization to reverse the refunded payment from the buyer.
Just to add, was the item shipped with tracking, and if so why did you refund while item was still in transit.
