Item I sold with calculated postage is actually much less then postage cost
Summary: chibilink7 opens a discussion about an item they sold, mentioning that the calculated postage was significantly lower than the actual postage cost. lezned-toycollector and davewil1964 also participate in the thread, but their contributions are not detailed in the available content. The main focus remains on the discrepancy in the postage calculation.
So I've sold many things on ebay and never had this problem. So I always use calculated postage via aus post, and I make sure to put the exact postage measurements and weight. But this time an item i sold charged the buyer a calculated rate of $9, but the actual cost is $35. Is there anything I can do about this? As far as I'm aware I'm not allowed to ask the seller for more money to cover the extra, but I cannot get in contact with ebay in any way. Can't find an email address at all and the automated chat just goes in circles.

If you wish to talk to an agent, then try the obvious.... type in "Speak to agent". This usually works first time, but I've never had to type that phrase more than twice before getting the desired result.
