Items sent via Sendle hasn't arrived

Has anybody had any problems with items sent by Sendle not arriving since it went bust? My item was sent on the 9 January, was supposed to arrive by the 22 January and still hasn't arrived. I contacted Ebay but they haven't responded. (what a surprise...)

You don't 'contact' ebay, your message won't be answered or looked at by a real person.

You don't even need to contact the seller.

You open an ebay claim for an item not received. And you follow through with it.

Be aware it is pretty well automated too and real ebay people won't be agonising over it, but it should be a pretty clear cut case and solution.

Unless the seller can show tracking evidence it was delivered to you, you'll get a full refund.

You don't have to worry about anything else.

So do it today!! Open a proper claim.

I was reading it as they are the seller?

Since they posted under selling and have no recent feedback as a buyer

IF so, they opted to risk using Sendle so if this is correct they either have a very patient buyer or the buyer does not know they can open a dispute

    You could be right.

I had not thought of that.

I had not checked feedback etc

The wording of the OP reads as if they are the buyer... "My item was sent" clearly indicates ownership of the item.

A seller would use the term "the item was sent" or "the buyer's item was sent" or much more likely "I sent the item".

TheOP also thought contacting eBay was a way to solve the issue so their use of 'my item' does not clearly indicate anything to mean

And 'my' item could as easily mean 'the item they bought from me that I sent'

Either way contacting eBay won't solve anything

No need to contact eBay, they usually read from a script anyway.

You only have 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to open a dispute

Open an 'item not received' case through eBay's Money Back Guarantee now

If you don't receive your item, you're covered under the MBG. Do as advised.

If the seller shipped it with Sendle, they're 100% covered as well - not that it's any of your concern, though.

Just follow the correct procedure to ensure you're not out of pocket, and don't worry yourself about whatever options the seller may choose.
