·2 years agoLOL, now that surgeons and nurses were mentioned in a thread about alleged beauty (in the eye of the webmaster - aka as beholder), I had to think of an episode of the "Twilight Zone" called "Eye of the Beholder". Those who know this episode will understand...

·2 years agoGee, is it really 5 years? I can recall when the home page was never ending. It was almost scary. You could scroll and scroll and seemingly never get to the bottom. I was so glad when that got replaced with what is there now.
I guess we'll have to wait and see what the new one is like.

·2 years agoA team of surgeons, theatre nurses, anaesthetist, etc., have time to perform one last surgical procedure. There are multiple liver transplant patients, a man with internal bleeding, two men and one woman awaiting carotid endarterectomies, and a woman wanting a breast implant.
Which patient ought to be assisted first?
eBay are going for the breast enhancement and also offer their “patient” a full manicure and eyelash extensions.
In the meantime, the other genuine patients are either dying or their condition deteriorates further; worse outcomes are almost certain.
I’m not sure that it’s a question of being afraid of the breast-enhanced woman…

·2 years agoSo much complaining about a revised home page, if every business took that approach we would all still be using a horse and cart. And chisel and a stone.
Don't tell me that a 5 year old thing shouldnt change, why are people scared of change?
