New Letter rates Australia Post from 3 January 2023
Must have had my head in the sand for over a month - I didn't realise that domestic letters are now $1.20 instead of $1.10. Have been posting out at the old rate all this time. Normally there is a big hoohaa when prices go up, but I didn't see anything. ☹️

·3 years agoYou are right. I just checked a letter with a small item I received last week and it has an additional 10-cent stamp.

·3 years agoYes, we realised a couple of weeks after the prices went up - only because we were checking the dimensions of a tracked envelope and noticed the price had increased.
I remember something on the news late last year that increases had been approved, but nothing later saying that they were being instigated, or on what date.

·3 years agoI purchase by the 20 x booklet - quite a few to save the trip.
Now have to make it up with 10 cent stamps.
