Hi, Could someone let me know please why Ebay charged me for the postage label and not the buyer who I sold my item to? I'm confused.

The buyer pays eBay Commerce the full price, including postage. eBay disburses you less fees and any postage label purchased (bad idea).

If you hadn't used an eBay label, you would have had to pay your chosen carrier for said postage.

Unless your buyer selected pickup and you posted anyway. Unlikely, as eBay no longer give buyers' addresses if they choose to pickup.

The buyer would have paid for the postage when they bought the item from you.......................
