Postal changes pain...
I have always posted my own parcels myself at the po,I am an older lady and struggle with it technology,I have posted 2 lots over 20 dollars which I realise now I can't mark sent,so I sent a photo of tracking receipt to buyer.i will now not sell anything over 20 dollars so ebay will see a big decline in their sales because a lot of people like me will do the same.

·1 month agoSorry if you came here for a sympathetic view on your situation. The way I see it, being an older lady actually means you have wisdom on your side. This also means that you should be reading and understanding the terms of the selling package you are subscribed to on eBay. It has nothing to do with technology. If eBay terms are for you to use eBay postage labels, then that is what you must do - simple.

I suspect ebay sales from occasional sellers have already been falling for quite a while, which is why we have seen the introduction of 'free selling'.
It has become more complicated in many ways to set up as a seller on ebay these days. Many people have moved to facebook marketplace for smaller items (and bigger items such as furniture).
Sending a tracking receipt to buyers may help to ward off some would be scammers as they will see you have some proof of postage, but as sandy said, a buyer can still open a dispute, especially if they claimed eg not as described.
Unfortunately, if you want to use anything these days, you have to read up on the terms and conditions and fiddle with settings to work out the technology.

·1 month agoIf you want to sell on eBay, you, like every other seller need to follow eBay rules
Nothing to do with technology, nor your age
eBay expect all users to know how things work
Uploading a tracking receipt is not going to help at all if the buyer opens a not received dispute
No use telling other members all this
And eBay are not going to notice if you leave
There has been ample information given about the changes, even eBay notified all sellers and here on the forum well in advance
