    Your listing will have been reported.

     

    eBay 'occasionally' do clean sweeps of the site for  prohibited / restricted / recalled  items when forced to by the ACCC 

    but a week later, they're all up listed again and reports are ignored.

     

    Yours sounds like one 'rare' time   when  eBay  did  actually  act on a report.

     

    For any new buyers reading this thread,  please read the Product Safety Policy and note that in regards to

    Australian Mandatory Safety Standards this  sentence is not enforced.

     

    "To ensure the safety and well-being of our members, eBay does not allow items that are banned, recalled or dangerous to a buyer to be listed"

     

    The site is flooded with items that don't meet Australian Mandatory Safety Standards.

    Also note that none of the above  generally applies to Chinese registered sellers as not only do they appear to be protected by eBay, they're very often given the title of:

    One of eBay's most reputable sellers.

    Consistently delivers outstanding customer service.

    Just because a dodgy seller in China does it does not mean others should go ahead and do it

     

    It is not up to other members to explain it to you

     

    It is up to the individual seller to not list things they are not allowed to sell on eBay simply because 'someone else has done it'
