Once again I have a non paying buyer and eBay gives me ZERO support or the ability to alert other sellers to these people who clearly have no intention of paying. Do better eBay otherwise what is the point of this marketplace with its premium selling fees.?

·1 year agoI agree Ebay should penalise non paying buyers and the seller should get a credit for the inconvenience.

·1 year agoAnd it took almost 2 years to come up with that 😲
FYI, eBay do penalise those who don't pay. When this happens, no charges are incurred by the seller. So what exactly do you expect to be credited?
What inconvenience? It takes but a few seconds to cancel the sale and relist if you do it manually. If that's too inconvenient for you, then take advantage of the fully automated process. If you do, then you need do nothing at all, so any perceived inconvenience is completely eliminated.

·1 year agoYet another seller who regards not being paid as a positive experience.
eBay "should penalise" sellers who aren't smart enough to correctly cancel as Unpaid & set their Buyer Requirements to exclude repeat non payers.
sandypebbles
·1 year agoThey do. IF the seller reports the non payment
You are also leaving positive feedback for the non payers. You are encouraging and rewarding them for it
Nobody else besides you and the 'buyer' have a clue who you are talking about, since nobody else can see the buyer's username
Plus you are breaching eBay policy by leaving a big green tick with a neg comment
You complain on a two year old topic for something you reward buyers for doing
Why would you are should you get credit for that?
Stop giving non payers green ticks and report them instead
After 20 years and many many sales, you have no reason to 'not know' the basics by now
repentatleisure1952
·2 years agoWhat do you suggest that eBay should do?
Send Guido & Luigi to the non payer's residence?
However you seem to regard not being paid as a positive experience so the point is moot.

sandypebbles
·2 years agoDo you report the non payment so you get your fees back and the time wasters get a strike ?
(that will also mean they won't be able to buy from sellers who have blocks in place)
At least you don't leave the 'buyers' positive feedback for not paying like some sellers choose to do, which encourages these people to keep doing it
But no point telling other members that eBay needs to do better. we are'nt responsible
sugar249
·2 years agoYes they do.
sandypebbles
·2 years agoDang, I missed that
Oh well, OP in that case you can't complain when you too give non payers a big green tick for not paying
Nobody else knows who this 'buyer' was AND, it is against eBay policy to give false positives, so not only are you rewarding and encouraging the behaviour, you are risking eBay pinging your account for doing so
domino-710
·2 years agoWhere did you find ' this '. ??
repentatleisure1952
·2 years agoIn the OP's feedback left for others... more than a year ago.
sugar249
·2 years agopage 7 of 24 of the feedback left for others, assuming we all see it the same
twyngwyn
·2 years agolodge an unpaid (cancelled) claim on day 4....the buyer will get a 'strike' and you will have your fees refunded...that's the only support you need
