Reviving my Seller account- They won't let me without an Australian driver's license or passport?
Hi All,
I have a decent seller record on ebay but apparently, I can no longer sell without providing a driver's license or passport number. I have neither- but I do have a "Proof of Age" card and a "Working with Children" card which provide much the same information.
Does anyone know if there is a way around this?
Thanks in advance.

OP1 year agoThanks, I hadn't seen that particular page.
It definitely does say "other form of govt ID" however why I try, the 'drop-down' menu ONLY allows passport or driver's license. I've got two forms of govt ID with photo but can't seem to make it work.
Appreciate your quick reply, will keep trying 🙂

I doubt eBay even understand what a WWVP card is. eBay are essentially American.
My WWVP card is in the same format as my DL, however I doubt it is searchable by non-Government entities. I certainly hope not.

OP1 year agoThanks for the replies, I appreciate it.
I called what appears to be the magic ebay number for Australian's. Think they're in the Philippines. Went through 4 supervisors and it took 90 minutes, but I got there!
They have now recognised my "other" govt issued ID. Still need to upload the photo ID plus Birth Certificate
but point is, I'm allowed back as a seller now.
So proud 🙂
