If you’re comfortable with Excel, the reply above is solid advice. I went down that exact path years ago -- built my own workbook with tabs for sales, fees, postage, inventory purchases, and a Profit and Loss summary. It works, but it can get pretty complex and time-consuming as volume grows.

I’m a long-time eBay reseller myself, and eventually I turned that DIY spreadsheet into a more structured Excel-based software called Net Gain Seller (I’m the developer/owner). It’s essentially a ready-made version of what's being described here. It's designed specifically for tracking inventory, sales, cost of goods, expenses, marketplace fees, shipping, refunds, and Profit and Loss without having to build everything from scratch.

It stays local in Excel (no cloud or bank connections) and focuses on the reports most sellers care about -- profit and loss, item-level profitability, fees, and aging inventory.

If you’re not keen on building and maintaining your own spreadsheet, that’s another route to consider.
