    seller wanting my bank account details outside of ebay
                     

    I BEEN ASKED BY A SELLER FOR BANK DETAILS SO THEY CAN MAKE A DIRECT DEPOSIT INTO MY ACCOUNT FOR A PURCHASE OF AN ITEM i AM SELLING.  BUT THEY INSIST THAT THEY CANT GO THROUGHT THE EBAY SYSTEM .

    DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A SCAM ?

    what is their reason? Are they local/interstate/international?? I accept deposits to my bank account.....but hasn't happened in over 6/7 years......buyers who do that have no comeback , so ask yourself why would they?

     

    what does BUYER'S feedback look like??

    Are they old/don't understand modern transactions?

    Not sure why a seller (which you have said twice) would want your bank details for an item you are selling

     

    How much experience do you have as a seller on the account on which you are selling the item, and is it a high value item?

     

    OR do you mean  something else?

     

    Hard to tell when people come on and yell at other members and give limited information
