Shipping Question
What’s your biggest shipping headache right now?
For me, it’s not always the postage cost. It’s delayed tracking updates, unclear delivery times, and customers asking, “Where is my order?”
Which issue causes you the most trouble: shipping prices, courier reliability, tracking, labels, or returns?

·3 weeks agoI have zero problems with delivery / tracking / labels, etc, with AP MyPost Business.
It's the shipping cost and tariff stuff which jerks my chain. Since Trump did his whole tariff thing, Americans think they have to pay tariffs on everything, and a number of them have told me they won't pay "the 50% tariff fee", so they don't wanna even buy my stuff.
The thing is, there's no 50% tariff (I don't know where multiple people got that idea from) and there's actually no tariffs on printed works like my products, so I've only been paying the Zonos processing fees since it all started. I've had to add 'no tariffs for printed works' on my ads and on my website, etc, to try and reassure buyers, but I think the damage is already done.
As for shipping cost - it keeps going up and my volume goes down, so my discount band will be reduced soon, compounding the problem. I've always tried to keep the shipping cost to under half the product cost for my #1 market, but I can't keep raising my product prices just for that.

OP3 weeks agoI think you've already done a great job – adding the tariff disclaimer on your listings and website was a really sensible move.
The drop in sales might not be your fault at all. With the cost of living going up everywhere, a lot of buyers are just tightening their belts and cutting back on non‑essential purchases. It's the same for many of us sellers – shipping costs keep rising, and customers are more price‑sensitive than ever.
Maybe you could experiment with offering a slower, cheaper shipping tier (e.g. economy parcel) to lower the upfront cost for buyers, or encourage multi‑item bundles to spread postage per unit. But honestly, your current strategy sounds solid – don't beat yourself up over things outside your control. Hang in there!

·Jul 17, 2026 at 7:04 PMI don't use couriers, eBay labels or get returns.
Tracking shows on AP website fine.
Very occasionally I will get a 'Where's my order' from somebody who doesn't understand how AP or handling time works.
One per customer, however...

·Jul 17, 2026 at 4:31 PMI asked my friend who ships around 150 parcels a week. Their exact words were "what are you talking about?"
There are no delayed tracking updates
ETAs are advertised clearly on eBay and can be seen on Aust Post website
They may get 1 person a month asking “Where is my order?” and usually that is related to buyer not checking that delivery attempt was made and it is waiting collection.
So I will ask you...."what are you talking about?"
or are you just someone doing market research thinking these are acrual issues

OP3 weeks agoTo be honest, every problem I've raised so far I've actually run into. I'm grouping them all together, and it's not related to dispatching an order.
